The Air Zoom Pegasus 34 offers runners a high level of comfort. This is thanks to the reactive damping provided by the Nike Zoom Air element, as well as the low weight and the optimal support delivered by the redesigned mesh upper. The hardwearing waffle outsole means that this shoe also offers excellent traction. It is no surprise, then, that this shoe was used for the Nike Breaking2 project.Sophie Mannstein - Keller Sports Pro
Thanks to the waffle outsole, this shoe offers durability and traction on various terrains. The Crash-Rails at the sides protect you from impact and improve the rolling motion of the foot. Unlike the previous version of the shoe, the studs in this model are at the sides and provide improved damping.
The partial mesh inner shoe encloses the foot perfectly. A comfortble fit is provided by the mesh upper, which allows air to circulate. The slits in the tongue make it easier to change into and out of the shoe.
Running a marathon in less than 2 hours - this has been a runners' dream for decades. Nike joined forces with three athletes to realize this dream. With the Breaking2 project, they tried to make the impossible possible. Find out more about Breaking2 in the video.
Zoom Air elements provide reactive damping during every step. This is further supported by the soft Cushlon ST foam.
The Air Zoom Pegasus 34 is a redesigned version of the previous model. It has a new, technically innovated upper, yet it also comes with tried and tested features, like the Zoom Air elements and the Cushlon foam. The men's model of the Air Zoom Pegasus 34 was worn by the Nike Breaking2 project runners and it helped them work towards their aim of running a marathon in less than 2 hours.
